New motorbike for Little Blue Hero Joey
Honourary Garda Joey Moss was given a dream present on his fourth birthday when he was gifted his very own motorbike by the Little Blue Hero’s Foundation.

Friends, family and special guest Pat Shortt gathered at Bianconi Drive in Clonmel to greet young Joey as members of the Blue Knight Bikers lined the street to cheer and clap as the youngster was presented with his very own motorcycle.

Joey is set to undergo heart surgery in the coming weeks. Joey has hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS). It’s a birth defect that affects normal blood flow through the heart. As Joey developed during pregnancy, the left side of his heart didn’t form correctly.

He has been on a cocktail of drugs since he was born which are basically keeping him alive and helping him to function. They allow him to continue with every day activities.

Despite his health issues, Joey was in fantastic form and took no time at all to master his new mode of transport.
Happy birthday Joey and well-done to everyone for making his day so special.
