Liam Hewitt Memorial
On behalf of Denis, John, Pat and myself we wish to say thanks so much to everyone who supported the Liam Hewitt memorial golf challenge. The support we got leading up to the event and especially on the day was overwhelming, and despite the awful weather on the day everyone braced the challenge to ensure we got to run the event in Liam’s memory.
As you know we were raising funds for the Irish heart foundation and I am delighted to report that after all costs we have raised 2,725 Euro for the charity . This would not have been possible only for the support we got from our sponsors / Teams playing on the day along with generous donations from people so a big thanks to everyone!
Well done to all the prize winners on the day and for all the support on the Friday night at the presentation of prizes, we were honoured to have members of Liam’s family join us on the night especially Bobby Hewitt, Jacinta Hewitt and Michael Hewitt.
Thanks again Kevin Keating
