Clonmel Credit Union Premier League
Cahir Park 3
Glengoole Utd 3
Cahir welcomed Glengoole to the Park and picked up their first league points of the season in emphatic style.

Although the visitors started the brighter and had the first chance of the game after 5 minutes, forcing a good save from Cahir Park keeper Eohan Doyle, the home side soon settled and found their rhythm. And they took the lead after 10 minutes when Cormac Crowe finished a good move. Cahir Park took over from there and deservedly made it two on 26 mins when Hichem Briem found the net from close range.

Glengoole to their credit battled hard to get back into the game and had a good ten min spell creating moments of panic in the Park defence. However any hope of a Glengoole comeback were quickly put to bed on 44 mins when Willie Dunne made it three nil.
Cahir Park continued to control the second half and were comfortable through out. On 60 mins Shane Murphy made it 4 nil finishing well after a great individual run.
Cahir Park saw out the rest of game with no major scares.
