Tipp Vintage Rally Cheque Presentations to Local Worthy Causes
The mighty Tipperary Vintage Rally group was delighted to present cheques to the South Tipp Hospice movement and the Tipperary town Red Cross from their recent fundraising events during the year.
The Vintage Rally’s annual Trip Through Tipp raised €4662 that was split between the South Tipp Hospice and The Tipperary town Red Cross.

Tony Lawlor and Carlos O’Connell collected €2331.80 for the Tipperary branch of the Red Cross and Tipperary Peace Commissioner John O’Heney collected a cheque for 8K for the South Tipp Hospice.

“Our Trip Thru Tipp that took place in July raised €4663.60 and we split that between the two very deserving causes,” explained Chairperson Frances O’Brien. “The South Tipp Hospice fundraising effort was boosted by a gentleman called Brian Honda who organised a ‘Honda 50’ ran in Birdhill and sent us the money raised for the South Tipp Hospice. As always we appreciate the spirit of generosity for all the donations we receive and thank all our volunteers who make it happen.”
