Mullinahone FC
Our Soccer team picked up the pieces of last season when they played Suirside on Sunday in the Peter O’Reilly Cup final. The result was a narrow, but welcome win for Mullinahone. August was a strange Month August 2021 was definitely a strange month as regards weather. 14 of the first 16 days of the month were wet, but then we had a turnaround and only 3 of the last 16 days had rainfall. Overall 72.3mm of rain fell on 15 days during the month. Of course, the heatwave during the second half of August was generally welcome, as plenty of second crop fodder was saved.
