Vee Rovers F.C.
Juniors; Vee Rovers were away to Bansha Celtic in a league fixture on Sunday at noon. Played in ideal conditions, Rovers had the bright start and took the lead on seven minutes through Jake Kiely. Failure to convert a couple of other chances before Bansha equalised on twenty one minutes would prove costly later in the game. Both sides created a number of scoring opportunities but reached the interval on level terms. As the second period wore on the home side began to dominate and slack defending at times allowed them to add three more goals to run out 4-1 winners in the end.
Clothes collection; Vee Rovers clothes collection runs on September, so if you are doing any decluttering contact any club member and we will glady accept any donations.
