CJK began their South Tipp 2021 SH campaign with a good win over Carrick Swan in the South Tipp semi-final on Sunday in Clonmel. The first half was evenly contested, but sill CJK managed to build up a 0-12 to 1-05 lead by the break. In the third quarter CJK cut loose and outscored their opponents 2-04 to no score during this period. This finished the game as a contest and the dismissal of one of the Carrick players shortly after was no help to their cause.CJK lined out: A. Walsh, D. O’Brien, P. Curran, C. Shelly, J. Shelly, E. Fennelly, A.Curran, K. Bolger, S. Curran, E. Keane, M. Kehoe, M. Dunne, E. Kelly, E. O’Dwyer, M. O’Shea. Subs used: K. Walzer and E. Ryan. This win sees CJK into the South Tipp final and sharpens the side up for their return to the Dan Breen championship later in the season.
