Another Great Win

Published 1 year ago 31st July 2021 by Editor

Once again our U15 footballers came out on top in a very close game. Having got the better of Clonmel Comm. in the semi-final and then Moyle Rovers in the South final, it was off to Ballina on the banks of the Shannon for the new South champions to face the home side in the County semi-final. It was a long way to travel , but such was the luck of the draw. In the end, Mullinahone pulled out all the stops to score a one point win 2-08 to 3-04 over the home side. The win seems a little easier when we look at the total scores Mullinahone 10 scores (2-08) Ballina 7 scores (3-04). It was a very hard fought win nevertheless. Hopefully, we will get the luck of the draw the next time. In the final, we will face J.K. Brackens (Templemore) who defeated Arravale Rovers (Tipperary Town) 5-09 to 1-08 in Templemore in the other semi-final.

We wish our lads the very best of luck in the final. It has been an outstanding campaign for our team so far. Hopefully, they can stretch their winning run to one more game. Best of luck lads.
